The Blue-garnet Deep is a poetic riddle intended to beseech The Garnet which grew out of the performances of The Conscious Kapoks. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is a single tercet. The Blue-garnet Deep is always written from the perspective of the author. Forms of parallelism are common throughout the poem, in that certain lines use the same placement of allusions and they reverse grammatical structures. The ending of each line of the poem shares the same rhyme. The first line has ten syllables. The second line has ten syllables. The third line has nine syllables.
