The Thorny Bravado is a dramatic poetic form intended to teach a moral lesson concerning war originally devised by the elf Roci Rhodolitecored. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is a single quatrain. Use of assonance and simile is characteristic of the form. Each line has five syllables. The rhyme scheme of the poem is ABBA. As a rule throughout the poem, the end rhymes don't generally match perfectly.
