The Carnival of Granaries

The Carnival of Granaries is a reflective poetic form intended to describe alcoholic beverages, originating in The Spine of Hives. The form guides poets during improvised performances. The poem is a single couplet. Use of juxtaposition is characteristic of the form. Forms of parallelism are common throughout the poem, in that certain lines are required to maintain phrasing, they sometimes have reversed word orders and they reverse grammatical structures. Each line has seven syllables. The ending of each line of the poem shares the same rhyme.
