The Vinous Kaniwa-Grain

The Vinous Kaniwa-grain is a poetic riddle intended to satirize someone's character, originating in The Inefficient Evils. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is three quatrains. Forms of parallelism are common throughout the poem, in that certain lines often share an underlying meaning and they reverse grammatical structures. Each line has nine syllables.
