The Successional Flax-sprout is a poetic narrative intended to praise birth, originating in The Dark-Tan Tribune. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is nine quintains. Each line has seven syllables. The second line of each quintain must expand the idea of the first line.
