The Pistillate Almonds

The Pistillate Almonds is a poetic narrative concerning someone recently retired, originating in The Moldy Bitter-Melon-Leaf. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is a single tercet. Each line has eight syllables. Every line of the poem has a medial caesura. The ending of each line of the poem shares the same rhyme. The first line is intended to describe the subject of the poem. The second line is intended to develop the previous idea. The third line is intended to make an apology.
