The Dissoluble Rickets

The Dissoluble Rickets is a poetic riddle intended to express pleasure with darkness, originating in The Government of Sports. The form guides poets during improvised performances. The poem is two to five septets. Use of consonance is characteristic of the form. A form of parallelism is common throughout the poem, in that certain lines sometimes have reversed word orders. Each line has four syllables. Every line of the poem has an initial caesura. The seventh line of each septet shares the underlying meaning of the third line.
