The Puddingstone of Topsoils is a light poetic form intended to teach a moral lesson concerning Vedrimnek, originating in The Turquoise of Revolutions. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is four quintains. Each line has seven syllables. The fifth line of each quintain contrasts the underlying meaning of the fourth line.
