The Axiomatic Powers is a light poetic form intended to describe The Stylistic, originating in The Wills of Bottling. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is two quintains. Use of consonance and simile is characteristic of the form. A form of parallelism is common throughout the poem, in that certain lines use the same placement of allusions. Each line has two syllables. The fifth line of each quintain reverses the word order of the first line. The rhyme scheme of the poem is AABBA.
