The Debatable Prickle-berries is a reflective poetic form, originating in The Mother of Exfoliating. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is divided into a quintain and a septet. Use of internal rhyme and consonance is characteristic of the form. Each line has nine syllables.
