The Sunken Halibuts is a dramatic poetic form intended to praise rivers, originating in The Mother of Exfoliating. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is six to seven brief verse paragraphs. Use of consonance is characteristic of the form.
