The Wreath of Ganglia
The Wreath of Ganglia is a poetic form, originating in The Citizen of Confederacy. The form guides poets during improvised performances. The poem is divided into a septet and two sexains.
- The first part is reflective and concerns the past. The sixth line of the septet must expand the idea of the fourth line. It has lines with eight syllables.
- The second part is ribald and concerns current events. The fifth line of each sexain must expand the idea of the fourth line. It has lines with eight syllables.
