The Boy of Sons

The Boy of Sons is a poetic narrative intended to complain about family, originating in The Heart of Dripping. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is a single tercet. Every line of the poem has a medial caesura. The second line of the tercet presents a different view of the subject of the first line. The first line has ten syllables. The second line has six syllables. The third line has eight syllables. The rhyme scheme of the poem is ABB.
