The Tactical Thesis is a dramatic poetic form intended to express grief over a chosen subject, originating in The Curse of Clear-Garnets. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is a single couplet. Use of juxtaposition is characteristic of the form. Each line has sixteen syllables. Every line of the poem has a medial caesura.
