The Reason of Educabilities is a reflective poetic form intended to complain about someone recently retired, originating in The Intrinsic Hemp-Stalk. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is four to six quatrains. Use of consonance and metaphor is characteristic of the form. Forms of parallelism are common throughout the poem, in that certain lines have similar grammatical structures and they reverse grammatical structures. Each line has five feet with a syllable weight pattern of long-short (quantitative trochaic pentameter). The fourth line of each quatrain must expand the idea of the third line. The rhyme scheme of the poem is ABAB.
