The Blossom of Confusion

The Blossom of Confusion is a solemn poetic form, originating in The Chromite of Loyalty. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is divided into three distinct parts: a line, a quintain and a tercet. Use of metaphor and juxtaposition is characteristic of the form. A form of parallelism is common throughout the poem, in that certain lines use the same placement of allusions. Each line has three feet with a tone pattern of uneven-even-even.
