The Banana of Inquiring is a reflective poetic form, originating in The Verbatim Brass. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is divided into three distinct parts: a line, six to seven tercets and another line. Use of assonance is characteristic of the form. Each line has four feet with a tone pattern of uneven-even-uneven.
