The Resurgent Siege-engineer is a poetic riddle intended to express pleasure with war, originating in The Infamy of Weaklings. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is four to five tercets. Use of alliteration, elision and metaphor is characteristic of the form. Each line has ten syllables.
