The Peanut of Cavorting
The Peanut of Cavorting is a solo performance dance originating in The Practical Atrocity. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Tulip of Rhythm as the dancer acts out any composition of The Fire-Clay Tail. The expressive dance is punctuated by counterclockwise half turns.
- The dance begins with the passages of the music. The dancer performs very slowly to the exusp rhythm. There is a basic movement called the nesu. There is a series of seven steps in a figure-eight pattern with a passionate facial expression and a high body level. This section is punctuated by independent body movement and undulating hand gestures.
- The dance enters a new section with the next passages of the music. The dancer performs quickly to the alazgo rhythm. This section is punctuated by leftward bends and passionate repeated left kicks.
