The Wholegrain Walnut

The Wholegrain Walnut is a solo performance dance originating in The Zombie of Swarming. The rules of the form are applied by choreographers to produce individual dances which can be performed. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Nectarous Euphony. The dance is punctuated by large counterclockwise quarter turns.

• The dance begins with the passages of the music. The dancer performs quickly with the music. This section is punctuated by powerful arm carriage and sinuous independent body movement.
• The dance enters a new section with the next passages of the music. The dancer performs slower and slower with the music. This section is punctuated by jerking hand gestures and aggressive leaps.
• The dance enters a new section with the bridge-passage of the music. The dancer performs slowly with the music. This aggressive spirited section is punctuated by vivacious runs.
• The dance enters a new section with the finale of the music. The dancer performs slower and slower with the music. This sensual strong section is punctuated by spins, aggressive raised left arms and passionate footwork.
