The Fruitful Petal
The Fruitful Petal is a sacred solo dance originally devised by the goblin Xosna Shamefulhoot. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by The Jammy Concert. The dancer performs quickly to the music's masul rhythm. This dance is a refined artform, with three special positions to be mastered. The dance is punctuated by elaborate clockwise half turns, aggressive arm carriage and vigorous curved walks.
- The dance begins with the passages of the music. This sluggish section is punctuated by high body level.
- The dance enters a new section with the finale of the music. This sprightly passionate section is punctuated by flamboyant independent body movement.
- The gaxog is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a debauched hand gesture with an aggressive leftward bend, a debauched right leg lift and a low body level.
- The ozzok is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a weightless arm carriage with a high backward bend, a refined facial expression and a leg lift.
- The ragu is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a left leg lift with a twisting hand gesture.
