The Rhythmic Pistillate Roses
The Rhythmic Pistillate-Roses is a social group dance which grew out of the performances of The Crystal-Opal Kitchens. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by The Flowery Spelt-Grain. The dancers perform in a single line, moving to the music's ujel rhythm. This dance is a refined artform, with two special positions to be mastered. The powerful dance is punctuated by high body level and low raised arms.
- The dance begins with the introduction of the music. The dancers perform faster and faster with the music. This section is punctuated by grotesque hand gestures, with movement mirrored by group members.
- The dance enters a new section with the passages of the music. The dancers perform very quickly with the music. This section is punctuated by jerking runs and counterclockwise quarter turns.
- The dance enters a new section with the next passages of the music. The dancers perform slower and slower with the music. This energetic section is punctuated by debauched counterclockwise half turns.
- The shudash is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a low backward bend with a right leg lift.
- The mushast is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a low body level shadowed by group members with a jerking rightward bend and a right leg lift.
