The Slade of Storms
The Slade of Storms is a sacred solo dance originating in The Coati of Shedding. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Kenaf Maples as the dancer acts out the story of the deity Ebimipo. This dance is a refined artform, with five special positions and twelve specific moves to be mastered. The elaborate dance is punctuated by low body level and grotesque spins, with partially realized moves.
