The Spathe of Trotting

The Spathe of Trotting is a participation dance originating in The Coati of Shedding. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Rhythmic Wreaths. The dancers perform in several lines. The serene dance is punctuated by delicate kicks.

• The dance enters a new section with the passages of the music. The dancers perform slower and slower with the music. This section is punctuated by independent body movement.
