The Peach of Lentils
The Peach of Lentils is a group performance dance originating in The Ceaseless Fingertip-Dominator. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Melody of Fir-Cones. The dancers perform in a double circle. This dance is a refined artform, with five specific moves to be mastered. The dance is punctuated by soft leaps performed in retrograde by group members, spirited raised left arms performed in succession by group members and spirited facial expressions.
- The dance begins with the verse of the music. The dancers perform quickly to the vope rhythm. This section is punctuated by vigorous forward bends and undulating arm carriage.
- The dance enters a new section with the chorus of the music. The dancers perform faster and faster to the duleklonit rhythm. This section is punctuated by spirited backward bends and debauched independent body movement.
- The ejel is one of the fundamental dance moves. First, there is subtle footwork. Then there is a clockwise eighth half turn with a passionate raised left arm, a strong right leg lift and a leap. Finally, there is a sluggish spin.
- The rethal is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a fluid spin with elaborate footwork.
- The epfurdam is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a debauched sway with an aborted right kick and a refined hand gesture.
- The smedrath is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a partially realized body level change.
- The obacst is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a delicate run.
