The Nectarous Horned-Melon

The Nectarous Horned-melon is a solo performance dance originating in The Ceaseless Fingertip-Dominator. The rules of the form are applied by choreographers to produce individual dances which can be performed. The dance is accompanied by The Finger-Lime of Songwriters. The dancer performs along an improvised path, moving slower and slower with the music. This dance is a refined artform, with five special positions and eight specific moves to be mastered.

• The jonal is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be an aggressive raised arm.
• The emsa is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a high body level with an undulating arm carriage and a proud right leg lift.
• The ciloc is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a large leg lift with a high body level, a subtle leftward bend and a sinuous hand gesture.
• The restro is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a low body level.
• The udagwa is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a high body level with a strong right leg lift, a raised right arm and an aggressive forward bend.
• The siv is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a sinuous curved walk with a soft forward bend and sensual movement along the line of dance.
• The xathod is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a sluggish spin with a sensual arm carriage.
• The hath is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a low body level with an elaborate spin.
• The th is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a twisting run.
• The warothistrel is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a sluggish spin.
• The sisersem is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a leftward bend with a spin.
• The xaka is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a delicate leap with a spirited raised left arm and a lively kick.
• The uc is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a jerking straight walk with vivacious movement along the line of dance.
