The Peanut of Pomegranites

The Peanut of Pomegranites is a solo performance dance originating in The Glamorous Asparagus. The rules of the form are applied by choreographers to produce individual dances which can be performed. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Round-Lime of Nutshells as the dancer acts out any composition of The Creature of Walnuts. The dancer performs slower and slower to the music's oyathu rhythm. This dance is a refined artform, with three special positions to be mastered. The entire dance has a basic movement called the uabira. There is a series of four steps in a figure-eight pattern. The relaxed strong dance is punctuated by graceful spins.

• The dance begins with the passage of the music. This section is punctuated by straight-lined leg lifts and proud facial expressions.
• The dance enters a new section with the finale of the music. This undulating section is punctuated by raised arms.
• The lomelo is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a low body level.
• The line is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a high body level with a forward bend and a graceful leg lift.
• The zocoliri is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a high left leg lift.
