The Cushy Sock
The Cushy Sock is a sacred group dance originating in The Polish of Choirs. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Wraparound Armor. The dancers perform in several lines, moving quickly to the music's orramoth rhythm. This dance is a refined artform, with five special positions to be mastered. The intense dance is punctuated by sharp-edged independent body movement.
- The dance begins with the introduction of the music. This section is punctuated by sprightly footwork and joyous left leg lifts.
- The dance enters a new section with the passage of the music. This section is punctuated by strong footwork, sharp-edged arm carriage and jerking spins.
- The dance enters a new section with the next passages of the music. This section is punctuated by refined facial expressions.
- The zolibosh is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a low body level with a grotesque arm carriage and an expressive rightward bend.
- The ngogdok is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be an elaborate leftward bend with a graceful hand gesture.
- The agosh is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a straight-lined raised right arm with a high body level.
- The bash is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a low arm carriage with a low body level and a joyous facial expression performed in succession by group members.
- The ngleth is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a low left leg lift.
