The Jammy Pineapple
The Jammy Pineapple is a sacred solo dance originating in The Heterosexual Patricide. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Songbook of Spelt-Grains. The lively grotesque dance is punctuated by intense facial expressions, proud hand gestures and backward bends.
- The dance begins with the passages of the music. The dancer performs along an improvised path, moving slower and slower with the music. This powerful section is punctuated by independent body movement and intense repeated left kicks.
- The dance enters a new section with the coda of the music. The dancer performs slowly to the exazgong rhythm. There is a basic movement called the musm. There is a series of nine spirited steps in a triangle pattern with a rightward bend. This section is sinuous.
