The Guava of Garlands
The Guava of Garlands is a solo performance dance originating in The Conglomerate of Hamlets. The rules of the form are applied by choreographers to produce individual dances which can be performed. The dance is accompanied by The Walnut of Rice. The dancer performs along a clockwise circle, moving very quickly with the music. This dance is a refined artform, with two special positions and six specific moves to be mastered.
- The dance begins with the introduction of the music. This delicate section is punctuated by weightless arm carriage and rightward bends.
- The dance enters a new section with the passages of the music. The dancer performs to the restro rhythm. This section is flamboyant.
- The merdo is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be an intense leg lift.
- The aron is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a subtle hand gesture with a low body level.
- The namsoprab is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a fluid leap with subtle independent body movement.
- The sharik is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a joyous counterclockwise eighth turn with an aggressive hand gesture and debauched independent body movement.
- The eduthade is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a subtle body level change with a spin, a debauched facial expression and a crude raised right arm.
- The ivik is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a large leg lift with a passionate clockwise eighth half turn, sluggish independent body movement and a sprightly arm carriage.
- The equa is one of the fundamental dance moves. First, there is elaborate footwork with a fluid raised arm. Then there is an elaborate run.
- The anecenre is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a sinuous leap.
