The Cymose Emmer-Grain

The Cymose Emmer-grain is a solo performance dance originating in The Curse of Clear-Garnets. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by The Tomatillo of Pineapples as the dancer acts out any composition of The Daredevil of Rhizomes. This dance is a refined artform, with three specific moves to be mastered. The passionate sinuous dance is punctuated by lively raised arms.

• The dance begins with the chorus of the music. The dancer performs along a clockwise circle, moving quickly with the music. This proud sensual section is punctuated by refined footwork.
• The dance enters a new section with the verse of the music. The dancer performs along a clockwise circle, moving to the atosmosm rhythm. This section is punctuated by independent body movement and spirited counterclockwise eighth turns.
• The tus is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a sway.
• The xukom is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a joyous spin with elaborate footwork and a backward bend.
• The odsuxu is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a vivacious leg lift with grotesque independent body movement.
