The Blooming Windfall
The Blooming Windfall is a sacred group dance originating in The Hubristic Cohort. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Blooming Blossom as the dancers act out any composition of The Attentive Consciousness. The dancers perform loosely mingled, moving to the music's vope rhythm. This dance is a refined artform, with four special positions to be mastered. The entire dance has a basic movement called the ehim. There is a series of fourteen twisting steps in a circular pattern with a low body level and independent body movement. The sluggish dance is punctuated by delicate clockwise quarter turns, low backward bends and straight-lined arm carriage, with movement shadowed by group members.
- The dance begins with the introduction of the music. The dancers perform quickly with the music. This section is punctuated by strong runs.
- The dance enters a new section with the bridge-passage of the music. The dancers perform slower and slower with the music. This section is punctuated by large moves and movement performed in succession by group members.
- The iquin is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a leg lift.
- The ijaspugolet is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a subtle raised arm with a refined left leg lift, a leftward bend and a low body level.
- The duleklonit is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a twisting hand gesture with a high arm carriage and a leg lift.
- The wut is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a left leg lift.
