The Nutty Paradise-Nuts
The Nutty Paradise-nuts is a solo celebration dance originating in The Child of Billon. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by The Lyrical Chestnuts. The dancer performs along an improvised path, moving to the music's itoq rhythm. The entire dance has a basic movement called the iqoq. There is a series of four steps in a circular pattern.
- The dance begins with the first theme of the music. The dancer performs quickly with the music. This expressive powerful section is punctuated by raised arms and intense spins.
- The dance enters a new section with the exposition of the first theme of the music. This section is jerking.
- The dance enters a new section with the second theme of the music. The dancer performs slower and slower with the music. This section is crude.
- The dance enters a new section with the exposition of the second theme of the music. The dancer performs slower and slower with the music. This jerking section is punctuated by left leg lifts and straight walks.
