The Corymb of Kumquat-Limes
The Corymb of Kumquat-limes is a group performance dance originating in The Soybean-Plant of Lobsters. The rules of the form are applied by choreographers to produce individual dances which can be performed. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Compositional Sun-Berry-Plants as the dancers act out any composition of The Vulture of Widowing. The dancers perform in a single line. This dance is a refined artform, with four special positions to be mastered. The expressive dance is punctuated by vivacious forward bends, proud footwork and energetic counterclockwise eighth turns, with large moves.
- The dance enters a new section with the theme of the music. The dancers perform slowly to the feri rhythm. This sensual graceful section is punctuated by twisting body level changes, twisting hand gestures and curved walks.
- The dance enters a new section with the bridge-passage of the music. The dancers perform to the viceva rhythm. This elaborate section is punctuated by joyous raised right arms and spirited independent body movement.
- The dance enters a new section with the variations on the theme of the music. The dancers perform quickly to the ebecari rhythm. This section is punctuated by fluid spins, passionate runs and aggressive raised left arms performed in retrograde and shadowed by group members.
- The dance enters a new section with the coda of the music. The dancers perform quickly to the cowe rhythm. This powerful section is punctuated by loudly percussive curved walks and rightward bends.
